Maria 5 is born in front of the Mediterranean Sea, with one foot on the sand of Camp de Mar Beach, with the first restaurant, Maria 5 Beach, inspired by Japanese techniques and gastronomy under an eclectic fusion of styles and flavours.
With a more formal and urban concept, in 2024 our second restaurant is born in the heart of Palma, in one of the most exclusive boutique hotels, Hotel Cort: Maria 5 Urban.

The more formal and urban option of Maria 5 in the heart of Palma, with the same spirit and under the same concept as Maria 5 Beach (Camp de Mar), this new restaurant in the centre of Palma fuses the best of Asian and international cuisine with an avant-garde, cosy and traditional design in its interior and dynamic and vibrant on its terrace in front of Palma City Hall in Plaza Cort.
In addition to lunch, dinner and a select cocktail menu, it offers a cosmopolitan breakfast menu.

CHEF
Chef Gunnar Blischke and his excellent team know how to preserve Asian flavours with worldwide flavours and styles.
Born and raised in Hamburg, Gunnar started cooking when he was only 18 years old.
Thanks to his determination and perseverance, he won the European Championship with the German national team and then came second at the World Championship in Shanghai.
He leads a multidisciplinary and multicultural team that brings to the menu touches of restlessness and creativity that fuse to perfection with ancestral techniques such as the basis of Japanese cuisine.
